  1. Only charity I donate to is the Salvation Army and if I hear a peep they are going “woke” or into CRT then they too can kiss my Salvated Ass! Don’t get me started on Red Cross… fuck them with biden limp, sniff-en dick.

    • Bear in mind that Red Cross Disaster Services and Red Cross Blood Services are entirely different entities. Disaster Services is always dead broke. Blood Services is absolutely floating in money and don’t let them tell you different. As a career hospital blood banker, we worked closely with them as our source supplier.
I will only support a charity where I can observe the bottom line, not some scam bureaucracy where 95% of their collections are “overhead and operating expenses”.

      • The Red Cross is an international money laundering operation.
Look up the Red Cross Disaster Aid boxes full of cash they got busted with several years ago over in The Sand Box.

      • I am with Phil. When I lived in Alabama I joined Baptist Relief and would do hurricane and tornado recovery. We would mobilize in small 4 or 5 man teams and arrive within a day of the disaster to lend help to people with damage control and tree removal. We were organized to be self sufficient for 4 days, tools, water, food, sleeping bags and clothes and medical supplies. The follow on units were to arrive with food kitchens, mobile laundry and food/supplies within 3 days. We would be set up and running at capacity and at the 5th or 6th day Red Cross Disaster and FEMA would show up and start throwing their weight around and we would tell them to get bent. We never asked for a dime from anyone. Red Cross would come up to homeowners and had myriad of forms for them to fill out and sign and stated they would be billed what insurance did not reimburse them for. They had an attitude they were in charge… they weren’t. I saw many Southern, Christian home owners threatening them with shot guns to get off their property and they were not welcome.

    • Yep, It’s the Salvation Army for me. I seem to recall that Bob Dole’s wife was head of the Red Cross with a six Figure salary a few years back.

  2. I worked as a Salvation Army bell ringer this past Christmas, several people vented to me about Red Cross at the time. One gentleman said after a house fire he received washcloths for baby from Red Cross. Others said Red Cross drove through after hurricane Micheal and that was all that was seen from them. All the complainers about Red Cross gave geneouly to the Salvation Army

  3. Cederq, same here. And when reading Aussie military memoirs, I’m struck by the instances of blokes encountering the Salvos providing hot tea for the diggers, well within indirect fire range of the front line, volunteer unpaid, especially during battles against the Japs in WWII.

    • Johno, my dad told a story about Red Cross during WW2. He was a flight officer and the Red Cross would provide steak and baked potato dinners to the officers free of charge and would give the enlisted weak assed coffee and stale donuts and expect a donation (payment) for that, it infuriated my father and he said he refused to eat in the Red Cross mess and would eat with his enlisted flight crew and would donate out of his pocket for his men.

  4. Any opinions regarding either Convoy of Hope or Matthew 25 Ministries? We live near M25M in Cincinnati, and they seem to have a good rep. And we’ve donated to Convoy of Hope when the finances allowed.
These days, however, I am skeptical about nearly every charity that does relief work. There are too many horror stories about NGOs causing problems for me to keep donating when our own finances are shaky.

  5. When I read this last week, I sent them a little missive telling them what a bunch of dick heads they are requiring TERMINALLY ILL children with probable compromised immune systems to be inoculated AND telling them that their donations were going disappear. I wish I had saved it. It was short and sweet with a big FU at the end. Everyone that of mind should send them a piece of it, letting them know what Aholes they are. You can rest assure that the CEO and The Board are raking in mid to high seven figure salaries while denying terminally ill children one last hurrah, sick bastards.

  6. After marching for 2 days without food or drink in newly liberated France (they had given their rations to women and children on the strrets) my Dad’s company was given a cup of weak coffee by the red cross and refused a donut unless they had a nickel to pay for it. Mom had strick orders not a fucking penny to the red cross, give all you want to the salvation army.
