I Really Don’t Know Why I Bothered.

I mean I still have a shit ton of work to do to this thing and I can’t keep anything clean to save my life in the first place.

I always marvel at other peoples machines that are just spotless and wonder how they manage that.

Mine get dirty by me just walking by them.

They don’t use them. They just own them for show. That’s how they do it. (or they have an apprentice that does nothing more than fetch coffee and clean galleys and chip trays.

  2. Phil I am the same way. I could pick up a clean tool and as my fingers grasp it instant oil and grudge all over it. We have magnetic personalities for dirt… Can you imagine that problem in a hospital setting? I walk by a room someone is bleeding or upchucking and it gets on my spanking clean scrubs…

  3. I like that tin rack you have hanging up. Would it be an imposition to ask for a photo or a sentence or two description? You are doing a nice job with you lathe.

    • The old tin rack with pictures of old cars on it was my late Grandmothers.
She had it hanging in her kitchen and used it to sort her mail.
Bills due etc in one , letters etc in another and out going at the top.
That thing has to be fifty years old by now at the very least.

  4. Tool porn money shots is what they are. Nobody’s shop is that clean.

It’s like when I go to a car show and the chrome headers are still shiny and not a trace of blue.
