Tripod, chain, screw clamp and a come along. Yanks ’em right back out.

Done that when I was young and roaming the country with a carnival. It’s harder than it looks.
Circus folks use an elephant to pull the stakes. We’d hit then on the sides to loosen them up and wiggle them out. Sometimes we’d use a T-post puller.
