Guy builds a little push/pull Forklift to use in his shop.
A guy could use the shit out of this. It would be a pain to store though.

a while back i was helping out in a machine shop that was down sizing. cleaning up stuff to be
put up for sale and things like that. while doing it, i came across a die lift table, they had 5 of them
boss man said no, we have 4. when i showed him the fifth one, we asked it i wanted it.
called my brother and got him and his truck down there fast. i used it like six of seven times now
worth it’s weight in gold. it’s the hand crank type. cables and what not. all i need to do it raise anything up 4.5 inches to get it on the table, then crank it up to almost 4.6 feet. great for moving
machine tools !

Any real weight on that contraption, it will tip forward…. nice work though

You noticed that too. ANYthing really heavy is going to require counterweight(s) to keep from tipping over…

Damn now you’ve planted a seed, he’s doing the math and we’re gonna see an epic contraption. Hell, I can’t wait, and chuckling because we get to watch.

I like the concept. I think I could make an adaptor for my engine hoist that would be more stable with heavier loads.
