I am 62. My husband is 73. We caught it from our kids in October. Sinus, irritating cough, loss of smell and taste(me, at about 60% now) and a slight sore throat. The most disagreeable aspect is lingering fatigue. I took 2 z packs to get rid of the sinus infection. I am damn glad I got it. I never had any doubt that I would live through it. I’ve had the flu with small children and wished a meteor would strike me dead. I have never had a flu shot. I have had the shingles vaccine. My mom got shingles in her ear and eye and…..And she’s 81, smokes, is a bean pole and was exposed to the wuflu by my kids and did not get ill. So yes, you would rather have the damon virus.
