I respectfully disagree. You need a double pole double throw momentary switch for this purpose., I know this from experience. That’s the work-around I installed in my 2004 GMC Yukon.
After some thought, I respectfully agree! You have to electrically switch the leads and direction of current for the motor to go forward and then backwards… thank you DBM.
Right after the MRI on Dec 8th the doc called me this afternoon and he said he talked with a surgeon friend of his and that want to rip the right kidney out, I told them I have an old German bayonet my dad got from Germany from WW2 and it has a bullet strike on the scabbard he could use, the blade is amazingly sharp still.
Yes, in fact, I like to give the old man Vernon friend here your number. He will be driving me up to Lewiston when that happens. So he can call you and let ya know?
A single pole, double throw momentary switch would have been easier to install and easier to use…

But more expensive, that was what they had laying around.

Momentary switch lets you run it up or down to where you want it and not leave power on it to burn the motor up when you are done.

That’s fine but I need the number he will be calling from so that I don’t ignore it.

I don’t think that will be a problem getting it from him. Thanks Phil.
