OK, this is weird.

DPS Crew Discovers Mysterious Monolith From Air In Remote Utah Wilderness

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Department of Public Safety helicopter was assisting Utah Division of Wildlife Resource officers counting bighorn sheep when the crew spotted something mysterious from above.

The discovery was made Wednesday.

“One of the biologists is the one who spotted it and we just happened to fly directly over the top of it,” said pilot Bret Hutchings. “He was like, ‘Whoa, whoa, whoa, turn around, turn around!’ And I was like, ‘what.’ And he’s like, ‘There’s this thing back there – we’ve got to go look at it!’”

The crew circled back and landed the helicopter to take a closer look. They couldn’t believe their eyes.

This thing.

Sticking out of the ground out in the middle of fucking nowhere.

Ya gotta admit, the similarity is phenomenal.

This year just keeps getting weirder and weirder and weirder and weirder.

That reminds me.

I need to make a new tin foil hat, my old one is worn the hell out.

  1. Serendipitous find? I have to wonder if it is aliens and they suggested to Trump to start the initial transition protocols to distract and dazzle those that bluecat57 had a premonition of?

  2. Sure smells like hoax of some kind. If I found something like that it would be testing time, not Oh that’s interesting, time to head back.

As far as aliens, I don’t care if they’re here or not. We have no shortage of humans that are probably more dangerous as it is.

    • I’d like to think aliens left it here, and just recently decided that there really isn’t any intelligent/sentient life here and really don’t want to come back for it….

    • Exactly, I read the book long before I saw the movie. One of the
issues were that it confounded metallurgists. My guess is highly
polished stainless steel, and probably not solid. One of the
reasons that we have never been visited is that the laws of
physics are universal, wormholes and faster than light speed
      travel remails science fantasy.

  3. That’s a lot of ambitious work to get that thing out there. It’s about 10x harder to do if that’s solid metal as opposed to (looks like stainless) sheet bent up and welded up into the rectangle like that. I did a web search and there’s dozens of articles on this with pictures from all kinds of angles and the made me think, “how in the heck did they get that thing in that tiny space and set it upright without leaving a trace??” Where would they put a crane to lift that and get it into place? Then clean up all the tracks and other evidence.

Must be some kind of artistic statement. Only artists are that crazy and still walk around in society.

  4. Did no one touch it by placing their palm flat on the surface and waited to see what would happen? No sense of tradition or curiousity nowadays …

  5. The vid report i saw on one of the other pages, STATES CLEARLY, assembled with screws! So Yes, its likely just 5 pcs of stainless sheet. two sides with lips and the front/back/top… blah blah.
The screw heads are TOTALLY obvious in pic above with dude standing there.
Coloring concrete with dye/native soil is Cake! I can’t tell if they are on bedrock or not. 14″ concrete saw(gasoline) (Stihl420 etc) is easy to slice a 6″ slot… 4 cuts(slots) the length of steel sides… set in place.
Do i think its Epic Troll Level? Hell Yes! TOTALLY AMUSED! NICE! but please people, get a clue, and PLEASE, do not replicate.
SO sick of the people who HAVE to set stacks of stones where ever they go (not as egregious as spray paint?) but Yuck:(
Yes, I’m the guy who walks thru and tips them all over! (LOL! BACK to Nature you stone charlatans :)-
    Happy Thanksgiving Y’all!
