Since I am just a few minutes away from Portlandistan you can pretty much guess what dominates the “News” around here.
Typical MSM propaganda and non reporting.
Left Wing viewpoints and talking points until I want to puke.
Things that are happening outside of the immediate Portland area that are the result of Shit Disturbers traveling in, out and around Portland though, typically do not exist because they do not get reported on unless there is some especially vicious violence associated with it.
That does not mean they aren’t happening.
So what, if anything, are you either seeing or hearing that is going on in your local AO?
Since The Let has such a stranglehold on the news, this is the best way I can think of to get some actual information and if this goes well I may just make it a semi regular feature.
Anyone who stops by here can then see if there is something going on either in their area or possibly somewhere they have friends or relatives that they otherwise might not ever find out bout.
Plus I get a better idea of what is going on in the world now that I am putting in 10 hour days and can’t constantly scan for news like I was up until recently.
So get in here and let’s see what’s up in your neck of the woods.
The main reason the Democrats are going to get their asses stomped is that
this is not 1968 when the big three controlled all broadcast media and we were
stuck with local print media. The gods of the Internet would have to shut the
whole fucking system down to completely suppress news events. Practically
every citizen in America has a camera and video recorder in his or her pocket.
If the social media giants censor everything, the photos and videos will be posted
to privately owned Blogs. The Democrats are either blinded by ideology or they
are too fucking stupid to realize how the Internet works!
PS These fuckers are so tone-deaf to current events, they got Steven Stills
and some other dude to play the classic protest song by Buffalo Springfield
(For What’s It’s Worth) at the Democrat National Convention. Talk about
fiddling while Rome was burning!

PS About my post. Something dawned on me about the Buffalo
Springfield song at the convention. In the sixties, the college brats
were throwing a temper tantrum just as they are now. Most of
the brats in the sixties were red diaper babies, offspring of the
old communist left. Many of these brats infiltrated academia
and politics when they got older.
I am looking at the superannuated Democrats and they are mostly
limp dicks and desiccated pussies from the sixties. By fronting
Slow Joe Biden this seems to be a desperate attempt to cling to
power. Biden (if he wins) will have people in the old guard pulling
his strings.

Leonard, already 21.30 on Tues 18th here in north Queensland. We celebrated the Battle of Long Tan today, as Vietnam Veterans Day. On 18/8/66, D Company 6th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment met a VC Main Force regiment and large elements of 2 NVA regiments in the Long Tan rubber plantation. D6RAR lost 18 dead, the next day they stopped the count of dead enemy at 275, but decades later the Vietnamese say their dead that day were at least 1150 troops. The diggers patroled from the Nui Dat base, carrying their SLRs (Lithgow-made FALs), 9mm OMCs (Owen Machine Carbine) and M-60s, though most of the death was surely dealt out by Aussie and Kiwi 105mm artillery, and later some US 155mm guns. Vietnam still insists they met a full regiment of Aussies and Yanks, plus a tank company, (but it was too early for the Centurion tanks, they wouldn’t be deployed until another year), it was 4 M-113 ‘Buckets’ turning up late to put their Browning .30 and .50 MGs to use. Men on the ground were the standard 108-strong company, including regular troops and ‘Nashos’ completing drafted National Service, but all volunteers to kill Commies.

Yes, I intend to see it one day. Ancient history now, but a fog-of-war incident about a week later involved that same RNZ Artillery battery that had helped out D/6/RAR at Long Tan, when they fired the first salvo of a fire support mission. D Company were ‘climbing back on the horse’ with a scouting and patrolling job, when the Kiwi shells fell amongst them, miles short, killing among others, Sgt. Major Kirby, who was regarded as a hero at Long Tan. After an investigation, a couple of Kiwis were sent home in disgrace, one court-martialed, but the diggers never held the drop-shorts against their fellow ANZACs.

She responded with a big FUCK YOU to the leftists with a song called

The armourers took the BARs and Thompsons home, ‘cos big buck$, but all the Garands were crushed here. A Tassie dealer bought ex-ARVN M-16s from the Viets, selling off parts kits, all the rest crushed after the deadline. Shitloads of American military history crushed, but that’s just what I can recall right now. All those M-1 War Baby Carbines and M-14s too, wouldn’t you like to have them back? Your 1911s and -A1s, all crushed, but could have been yours. Too fucken bad, Deathray. None of it happened without the direction, planning and execution by the CIA, and their arse-lickers ASIO. No business owners or police are trying to enforce the masks that I’ve head of. Dept of health has no authority so there is no enforcement outside of the occasional paranoid individual who complains that we hear about.

SW Michigan generally quiet so far. There has been an uptick in gun violence nearby, South Bend, Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids seem to be having more nightly shootings, mostly gang bangers but a few innocents in the way are getting killed, 2 children this past weekend. This was a very rare occurrence in years past so 2020 and this idiotic lockdown is causing increased drug traffic with related violence. At least we have not caught the “defund the police” virus but there are small pockets of agitators in Lansing where La Douche Whitmer is running a star chamber.

Seventy five miles NW of Austin, deer hunting capital of TX, I thank God every nite I lay my ass down for planting me here for the aging years of my life. Born and raised in So. CA, it was wonderful as a kid in the 50’s and 60’s. Spent my last duty station in Denver 84-86 and thought I would want to stay there after coming back from 4 yrs in Honolulu but Denver had been overrun by commies from CA. Spent 9 yrs in Alamogordo, NM, nice high desert but kinda isolated. Ended up here almost 20 years ago and have never regretted a moment of it. Worst thing I can think of happening was a shithead shot and killed a deputy 10-12 years ago. Really peaceful and don’t need to go to Austin for any craziness. Couple weeks ago some peabrain went off at a flea market in San Antonio and shot off a few rounds, don’t remember if anyone was hit or not. I am blessed!
