That folding pocket knives have actually been around this long and that the original design really hasn’t changed all that much.

This thing looks like some cheap trinket you could still buy today that was either made in India, Pakistan or China.

  1. The ancient Romans were not stupid. People have been trying to figure out
    the function of slots on the exterior of the Colosseum for a hundred years,
    and one guy was able to identify their purpose. They were used to mount
    jib arms to hoise the blocks as the walls were built. They had block and tackle,
    capstans, inclined planes, wheels, levers, and draft animals just like the
    ancient Egyptians. The amount of engineering and precision that went into
    this project is mind-blowing:
