Sooooo Sport, how far ya think yer gonna get with that set up?
Maybe to a tire shop if it’s less than six blocks away?
You know, they have been making these things called Spare Tires for, oh, I don’t know, maybe NINETY FUCKING YEARS NOW?
Jesus Christ on a pogo stick.
Some peoples kids.
Bad upbringing maybe…

I give it TWO turns – not of the tire, but of the vehicle. And, I’m being generous.

Some of those for a long time now. My 2000 Corvette came with run-flats and no spare nevermind a jack.

I remember being way back in the woods with a Farmall H (they make great hunting vehicles) when a spot on the tire the mice had chewed through started leaking.
We jacked it up, broke it down right on the tractor, pulled the tube to patch it, used a bunch of surplus leather thongs to weave a boot for the tire, put it all back together and used one of those sparkplug inflator doohickies to blow it up.
The tractor stayed in there for five more years and that patch never gave us any trouble.

coulda used that idea when my trailer tire delaminated at sixty mph and worked the trailer floor under the furnace and water heater and fridge like a forty two inch dado blade on a table saw. It was a expensive trip…

If there is no spare and this gets the car to a shop then it’s genius…..if it’s considered a repair it’s evidence of brain death. Could go either way.
